Rain halts play at Colombia Championship

Bogota, Colombia (SportsNetwork.com) – Roberto Diaz completed just one hole of
his second round on Friday as play was halted by rain at the Pacific Rubiales
Colombia Championship.

Diaz was alone in the lead at minus-9.

Steve Marino played earlier in the day and carded his second straight 4-under
67 on the Fundadores Course at Bogota Country Club. He is alone in second
place at 8-under-par 134.

Aaron Watkins carded a 3-under 68 and is in third place at minus-7. Patton
Kizzire (70) and Kelvin Day (68) are tied for fourth at 6-under 136.

Darron Stiles (72), Martin Piller (69) and Trevor Simsby (68) are through two
rounds at 5-under 137. Patrick Rodgers, who is through seven holes of round
two, Chase Wright, who finished two holes, and Tyler McCumber, who hasn’t
started his second round, also stand at minus-5.
