Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) – Su-Hyun Oh earned her first
professional victory on Sunday and that helped her skyrocket up the world
rankings.
Oh, the former No. 1 ranked amateur in the world, jumped 110 spots to No. 136
thanks to her 3-stroke win at the RACV Ladies Masters.
Lydia Ko held on to the top spot in the rankings and she was again followed by
Inbee Park, Stacy Lewis, Shanshan Feng, Suzann Pettersen and Michelle Wie.
For the third week in a row, So Yeon Ryu and Hyo-Joo Kim exchanged places. Ryu
inched up one to seventh and Kim dipped to eighth. This week’s defending
Australian Open champion Karrie Webb and Lexi Thompson were ninth and 10th
again this week.
Kyu Jung Baek, Na Yeon Choi, Anna Nordqvist and Azahara Munoz were 11th to
14th again. Brittany Lincicome jumped three places to No. 15 and that pushed
Cristie Kerr, Sun Ju Ahn and Mi Rim Lee down one notch apiece.
Jessica Korda climbed one to 19th and that pushed Ha-Na Jang down to 20th this
week.
