Orlando, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – Bernhard and Jason Langer combined to shoot
a 13-under 59 in Sunday’s final round and the duo went on to win the PNC
Father/Son Challenge by two shots.
The Langers finished the two-day event at 23-under-par 121. Bernhard Langer
has now won this event three times, with the other two coming when he was
playing with his son Stefan.
Davis Love III and his son Dru also fired a 59 at Ritz Carlton Golf Club, but
it was not quite enough as they settled for a runner-up finish at 21-under
123.
Vijay and Qass Singh surged up the leaderboard with an 11-under 61 and they
finished tied for third at 20-under 124 with Curtis and Tom Strange (62), who
shared the first-round lead with the Langers.
Defending champions Stewart and Connor Cink carded a 7-under 65 and they
finished tied for eighth at 16-under 128.
