Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) – Lydia Ko won for the second straight
week and she extended her lead atop the women’s world rankings.
Ko, who won the Ladies European Tour event in her homeland of New Zealand,
pushed her lead atop the rankings from 1.33 average points to 1.41 average
points.
She was again followed by Inbee Park, Stacy Lewis and Shanshan Feng. Michelle
Wie and Suzann Pettersen exchanged places for the second week in row.
Pettersen moved back to fifth as Wie dipped to sixth.
Hyo-Joo Kim inched up one to seventh as So Yeon Ryu fell one to No. 8. Karrie
Webb remained No. 9.
Amy Yang earned her second LPGA Tour title on Sunday at the Honda LPGA
Thailand. That helped Yang jumped six spots to No. 10. She was followed by
Lexi Thompson, Q Baek, Anna Nordqvist, Na Yeon Choi and Azahara Munoz, who all
dropped one spot.
Mirim Lee jumped a pair to 16th, while Brittany Lincicome tumbled a pair to
17th. Cristie Kerr dipped one to 18th. Jessica Korda moved up one spot to 19th
and that knocked Sun Ju Ahn down one to 20th.
