Hua Hin, Thailand (SportsNetwork.com) – Andrew Dodt closed with a bogey-free,
5-under 67 on Sunday to win the inaugural Thailand Classic.
Dodt finished his second European Tour title at 16-under-par 272. After a
first-round 71, he ended the tournament with three straight 67s.
Scott Hend led entering the final round, but only managed an even-par 72. He
shared second place at minus-15 with Thongchai Jaidee, who carded a 71 in the
final round.
Richard T. Lee matched the low round of the day with his 6-under 66. Lee was
joined in fourth place at 14-under 274 by Kiradech Aphibarnrat (70) and Jason
Knutzon (67).
Second-round leader Miguel Angel Jimenez parred the final nine holes at Black
Mountain Golf Club for a 1-over 73. He finished at minus-13 and ended
alongside Carlos Pigem (66), Johan Carlsson (69) and Wade Ormsby (70).
