Champions Tour announces 2015 schedule

Ponte Vedra Beach, FL (SportsNetwork.com) – The Champions Tour announced its
2015 schedule Wednesday and it will feature 26 tournaments.

Just like in 2014, the 2015 slate will begin in Hawaii on Jan. 23 for the
Mitsubishi Electric Championship and the schedule will run through the Charles
Schwab Cup Championship in Arizona, which will be held from Nov. 5-8.

The schedule is up one event from 2014 with the addition of the Tucson
Conquistadores Classic, which will be played from March 20-22. Also, the
Pacific Links Hawaii Championship will be moved to Tianjin, China and will be
called the Pacific Links China Championship. That event will be played Sept.
18-20.

The Regions Tradition will once again serve as the first major championship of
the season, running from May 14-17. The Senior PGA Championship will be played
the week after in Indiana on the Pete Dye Course at French Lick.

Three weeks after the Senior PGA is the Constellation Senior Players
Championship, the season’s third major, held at Belmont Country Club in Boston
from June 11-14. Two weeks later is the U.S. Senior Open Championship from
June 25-28 and will be contested at Del Paso Country Club in Sacramento,
Calif.

About a month later, the Champions Tour will head overseas for the fifth and
final major of the season, the Senior Open Championship. It will be played on
the Old Course at Sunningdale Golf Club in Berkshire, England from July 23-26.

Ten events separate the Senior Open Championship from the season-ending
Charles Schwab Cup Championship, which will be held on the Cochise Course at
Desert Mountain Club for the second straight year.
